Gemini

s/v Gemini is an Alberg 35 sloop rigged sailboat, built by Pearson Yachts of Bristol Rhode Island (USA) in 1964. The Alberg 35 was designed by Carl Alberg to conform to the CCA rules of yacht racing and to be a modest coastal cruiser. However the racing rules have changed and the Alberg 35 has proven to be more than just a coastal cruiser, as many have sailed around the world. Her full keel and wine glass shaped hull make her especially stable in big seas, while her long overhangs at the bow and stern provide reserve buoyancy and allow for the waterline length and her hull speed to increase when she is heeled on a reach. s/v Gemini sails her best offshore in stiff wind.
